Welcome to a jumble of musing about the state of life and trying to make sense of it all.
The blog began as a personal blog, but my life has always been about exploring my place in the world and especially my relationship with the Nature. Particular low points are my struggle with deep spiritual loss and the on going criticism of western ideals of material growth and intellectual reasoning. Eventually this has come to more focused search for a unity of spirituality and economics in the concerns of environmentalism. Environmentalism is seen as the soil from which the new ideas of the humanity will flourish and in which ancient ideas of spirituality will grow to enhance the materialism of the now obsolete Western Enlightenment.
My qualifications give some information about my interests (BSc Zoology, BA Philosophy). After Christianity as a child, I expanded to explore Science and Philosophy and eventually expanded to Hinduism and I believe its crowding achievement Buddhism which has been the focus of understanding since 1997. I enjoy nature and exploring the world and work in computers. Everything is open to investigation! There are no limits.
A search for happiness in poverty. Happiness with personal loss, and a challenge to the wisdom of economic growth and environmental exploitation.
