Lady here who gave up buying Capitalist crap and after a year feels much better.

The best you can say about Capitalism is it achieves nothing, and the worst is that it sucks people into a frivolous waste of their time. We must have had everything we needed 10,000 years ago else the human race could not have survived. The rest is just marketing **.

** okay simplistic. Society evolves like an ecosystem. You won't get far in this society without reading and writing which evolved sometime after 5000 years ago. So there is a social war where new inventions exclude people who can't keep up. BUT while your ability to prosper in society may be affected, your position in reality is unaffected. That is until Capitalism started to destroy the planet. Soon for example you will need to buy fresh water and air because the Capitalists have polluted it all, while 10,000 years ago all this was free. And when they have destroyed planet Earth we will need to pay for transport to other planets. So Capitalism is changing things to make us more enslaved.
