Moving from Antikythera mechanism to "I mechanism"

BBC4 In Our Time discussing the Antikythera Mechanism. One guests saying that the prevailing idea of the time would have been that gods pushed the sun, moon and planets around the skies. But being able to simulate this with a mechanical device would have had profound philosophical implications for the view of how the universe worked.

Interesting that we are still in this phase. Instead of gods we have the "I" these days which pushes our life around. With AI and things like ChatGPT are we entering a new Antikythera phase where we can see that the things we previously thought were "mine" are actually mechanisms? Like for example even writing this!
