Bugging Out properly is a Profound State of Mind

If we really want to bug out tho we need hook back into nature (assuming not a nuclear war and everything poisoned).

(1) need clean water (free from industrial pollution). Could collect dew but this contains atmospheric pollutants - but we screwed if the air is poisoned. Sphagnum moss good for macroscopic filter (stick in a hollowed out log or bind bark together with fibre). Then there is boiling.

(1.1) basic emergency food are worms, carrion (actually okay to eat rotten meat - see hung pheasant), grass seeds (few hours of collection will meet daily carb needs), get to sea shore where easy sustainable diet this is where mesolithic humans existed and give time to learn the rest.

(2) Make fire. Many methods. Increases available food sources 1000% by breaking d…

I guess who ever learns to tap into Nature first will be the ones who live. Massive population drop so we'd need to fight for resources. Lay low until bullets have all been used up (chemical supply lines will have been cut to make more) so very quickly those in league with Nature will prosper.

One amazing thing is a human population drop natural resources will explode. So where finding even a deer to eat is hard at first in a few years it will be a cornucopia. So tough first few years.

I believe this state is the one in Genesis. It was the starting of farming that was the start of hard work and hard living (the Fall) but the level above is actually incredibly easy. Gorillas only work 4 hours a day (which includes grooming and social "work")

so maybe should ne called "bug in" 🙂

and when population drops and resources plentiful then humans stop fighting. Archaeological record shows this. So all that "Lord of The Flies" and various US apocalyptic visions is actually profound nonsense.  Once humans break out of Capitalism we stop fighting because we get what we want freely from Nature not from capital or possessions. That would be the key times to wait for the final collapse of Capitalism. Of course it would all start again via the same ratchet mechanism that got us here today, but we would be free for a bit.

just thinking out loud. The key thing then would be to ban farming and destroy anyone or any tribe that is fooled into managing crops and land. Remind them that Capitalism comes that way and a life of dreary hard work.

(note to self: wow that is actually the sequel to Anura that story I wanted where people have developed photosynthetic ability so cannot starve and so are free. But when photosynthetic ability is destroyed they need re-find farming which should show the collapse of Anuran society and the rise of Capitalism again).

but remember that the infrastructure is gone so can't get anything a "capitalist" makes. Must be what Nature makes. That is the key change in thinking I'd say.

In fact you see birds and animals just drinking from puddles. We just need to stop parasites once industrial pollution is gone.

We have a posh stables here where rich kids keep their ponies. They are allowed to go down to the stream here and drink which makes me wonder what if I did that? I'm sure Ms Jemima La-de-Da would be balling her eyes out if if little Spot got ill so it obviously does no harm. Often wondered as an experiment to drink from that steam for a week see what happens.

The ultimate argument is if humans actually needed to "do" anything and Nature didn't already "give" us it, we would never have evolved!

banks are gone, money is gone, even gold is gone ultimately as this is all Capitalism. Why do you need to buy anything when it literally grows on trees and is fishable from the river?

This what Amazon Tribes people say, they can't understand what we are doing in the West when it is all freely available in the jungle. Why make life so hard! That is the story of Genesis.

anyone who doesn't learn this is dead when the bug out happens. As in fact the human race is dead because collectively we have forgotten this lesson and think we can make what we want by ourselves (again exactly the lie told us by the serpent at the Tree of Knowledge in Genesis).

"The Jewish Fallacy" OR "The Inauthenticity of the West"

I initially thought to start up a discussion to formalise what I was going to name the "Jewish Fallacy" and I'm sure there is ...
