Problem is we've had 80 years of Pentagon propaganda in the West to help us forget. the Cold War was signed by Russia and the US (Churchill was an annoying drunk who managed a few photo bombs) and Europe and Soviet worlds were put into motion. Except it wasn't called the Cold War in the East because Stalin (stupidly) thought it was a Peace deal. Somehow the US tricked him, because the US does not do Peace so they never stopped fighting and the borders and deals they made they broke immediately and kept advancing their armies to the East. Stalin should have done the same as kept advancing the Red Army West. But the problem is the Old World is principled and liked to keep agreements, while the New World sees them as just strategic pieces of bluff to further their interests. And so 80 years later the US has invaded all of the Soviet world and is on the verge of invading Russia. Obviously US and Russia are the only players and the stupid people in Europe and the Soviet world seem to have forgotten they are just pawns in this greater game. I really do wonder how soldiers on all sides sleep at night knowing that their lives are completely controlled by strings from these ridiculous and meaningless global politics. Least we forget ;-)
