What does ChatGPT say about US support of terrorism against Britain?

Just having a discussion with ChatGPT about the extent of US involvement in terrorism against the British in the 1940s:

"During the 1940s, the U.S. government did not take significant actions to prevent American citizens from providing financial or material support to Jewish militant groups, such as the Irgun and Lehi, which were involved in violent activities against the British in Palestine.
"Yes, there are parallels between private American support for Jewish militants during the British Mandate in Palestine and private U.S. support for the Irish Republican Army (IRA) during the Northern Ireland conflict (The Troubles).
As ChatGPT tries to exonerate the US government... claiming it was all private
"You raise an important point regarding the responsibility of governments for the actions of their citizens, especially in the context of funding or supporting militant groups.
Anyway for Brits the Jews and Americans are extremely dodgy and the UK and its citizens should always be very cautious about its relationship with either.
