The Yes-Mam has struck. According to Mr Starmer Housing must take priority over nature.
Just translate that gobbledy goop: the investors in the construction industry must take priority.
Funny how this whole problem started with the dotcom crash when Blair also handed interest rates to the Bank of England who then slashed them and kept them low despite huge house price inflation creating a housing bubble and the US who had exactly the same policy (strange coincidence for 2 entirely free and separate countries adopting the same crazy policy that people outside the US Empire say Russia never suffered), the US house bubble then popped creating the "Sub-Prime" crisis which rather than let the housing bubble crash properly and suck Capitalism down the drain was bailed out with £1t of tax payer money just to protect the private housing market. And all this because Thatcher decided to put the entire UK housing stock into the free market. Pretty sure a lot of people thought it crazy at the start, now 40 years later is there anyone who still thinks it was a good idea? And Starmer is still trying to style this Capitalist disaster out. What is prat.
