Why are humans still fighting in the 21st Century ?

There are 3 types of organisms: (1) those that fail the mirror test (where we only recognise beings as beings - nothing is a self)

(2) those that pass the mirror test (where we see our self in our reflection - all people are different selves)

(3) those that pass the advanced mirror test (where we see our self in other people - all people have an aspect of the same self)

The reason humans still have war is because lots still fail (3).

Is it so hard to realise that given 2 sides A and B: people from side B will be imprisoned by A (e.g. Guantanamo) and people from side A will be imprisoned by B (e.g. Saydnaya).

Both A and B will do whatever is necessary to protect themselves e.g. even vaporise whole cities of defenceless civilians by nuclear power in the extreme case. I use this example because a lot of people in the West (especially those in the media and movies) think America is a special side unlike others. Only those at level 2 think their side is special, just like they think they are special.

A and B both write laws that protect themselves so law is irrelevant, and both will break laws when it suits them. Both protect and represent the people who support them.

But if you chose A you end up in B's prison and vice-versa.

The only conclusion is that joining a side is pointless. This is (3).

This is the only way that war ends.

All those stuck at level (2) or (1) who think that by working to make A or B stronger don't see that this is the petrol for war not the water. Those who fight will never see peace.

I've commented in the blog many times on this. There is a fake peace that I call Pax after the Pax Romana. When a bully turns up who is so powerful that no one dares argue then you get a type of peace where people are afraid to fight. Saddam Hussein was a good example as is America. When Saddam Hussein was murdered by the US all the forces that he had suppressed exploded into conflict. Like of hate the US their forceful oppression of the world would have the same effect if they suddenly collapsed.

There is another side to this. I met a refugee from Sarajevo and the Balkan Wars of the 1990s. She said that everything was fine and then suddenly everything went crazy. Previously peaceful people started fighting. Her brother just went out and bought a gun and began to fight.

Now Freud would say that these destructive forces had been repressed by civilisation all along. But for this philosophy to work we need a pretty big storage container in us that must house all the potential things we will do in the future and all those we won't. Do we all have the insanity of war stored in us? You could see at the heart of this a flaw in Jewish thinking. But its much better to say that when war starts it causes certain protective behaviours. People stuck at level 1 or 2 will fight because they do not see themselves in the people they are fighting. Exactly analogous to an animal attacking its mirror image because they do not understand that the thing over there attacking them is really themselves.

So its true that fighting can cause a Pax. You just destroy all sides but your own. But it has not solved the problem because people are still not able to understand that people on the other side are really them self. When you see that people on both sides are just people with a side then you realise that having a side is not that important. This is the Advanced Mirror Test.

Even the idea of Pax leads to war. This is why people are still fighting in the 21st Century. Too many people are still primitive.
